Troop 706 hosts a Pinewood Derby Workshop every year for cub scouts. It is Sat 1/10 @ 9AM-4PM. Scouts will cut, sand, add weight, align wheels, and putty their cars in 30 minutes! The cost is $18 per scout. This is a fundraiser for Troop 706.

Pack 1280 will have additional opportunities to design your pinewood derby car, but if you would like to get it done early, this is a great way to do so!

On the morning of Sun 1/11, Pack 1280 will be heading to AMC Montgomery 16 to see The Spongebob Movie: Search for Squarepants. The movie starts at 10 am but we are asking people to arrive between 9:30-9:40AM to seat our group.

IF your scout sold popcorn this year at storefronts, you will have received an email with a discount code for the 'BUNDLE: 2 Movie Ticket + snack pack' option which you can apply once per eligible scout and this will zero out the cost at checkout.

Pack 1280 will be Snowtubing at Liberty Mountain on Sat 1/31 @4-6PM. The cost will be $35 a person which included a subsidy on behalf of the Pack! Registration goes from now until January 20th.

Terrific hike at Croydon Creek Nature Center! Scouts took a large loop around the property and then checked out the reptiles inside the nature center. It was good to get out to hike before the snow! 

On Dec 6, Pack 1280 had our annual potluck and Popcorn Celebration which included a pie contest. It was delicious! The pack sold $35,042 of popcorn this year. Great job scouts!
